SWEDES FALL TO COYOTES 5-0

Salina, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Soccer team to I-135 North to Salina, Kan. to take on the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes.

The Swedes' defense held strong until the 26^th minutes when the Coyotes would squeak in a goal following a save by Mackenzie Nutter. Bethany would trail 1-0 going into the half.

The second half was a bit rough as the Swedes would commit a foul in the penalty box leading to the second score for Kansas Wesleyan. The Coyotes would net three more goals for before the clock ran out to take this one 5-0.

Mackenzie Nutter drew the start and went the distance while tallying 7 saves. Donatella Luccarreli would record the lone shot for Bethany on the evening.

The Swedes have one more game left against the Friends University Falcons. After some rescheduling, the Swedes will take on the Falcons at the Stryker Sports Complex on an indoor field. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
