Bio

Chance Clatterbuck joined the Bethany College Athletic Department in February 2023 as the assistant offensive line coach as well as video coordinator for the Swedes football team.

Before joining Bethany, Clatterbuck has had plenty of coaching experience. From 2001-2009 he started coaching freshman football at Fremont Jr. High in Mesa, AZ. From 2009-2019 he was the offensive line coach for Perry High School in Gilbert AZ. From 2019-2020 he coached middle school football in Lubbock, Texas. From 2020-2023 he coached the offensive line at South High in Salina KS.

As a coach, he has coached multiple all-conference and all-state football players throughout his career. Many of his players even went on to play college football.

As a player, he played on the Defensive Line.

Chance Clatterbuck earned his bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Arizona State University in 2009. He then went on to obtain his master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University in 2012. Clatterbuck also proudly served our country spending 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. He is married to his wife Kail and they have three children: Shania, Justin, and Ashley.
