POOR FIRST HALF LEADS TO LOSS IN EXHIBITION

Pueblo, Colo. -  The Bethany College Men's Basketball took the road before Thanksgiving Break to face the Colorado State University – Pueblo Thunderwolves in an exhibition contest.

The Swedes got on the board after falling down 0-4, but Bethany would go on an 11-3 run led by Maurice Cudjo II. The Thunderwolves would use a run of their own to regain the lead by two, but Ellis Todd would put Bethany back up with a shot from downtown. Unfortunately, the Swedes would struggle finding the bottom of the net going 9-34 from the floor and giving up a 32-9 run in the latter part of the first half.

In the second half, the Swedes would return to their normal selves shooting almost 50% from the floor, but would be unable to hold the Thunderwolves back as both teams would put up 41 points in the period. Pueblo would take this one 87-65.

Ellis Todd and JR Cison would each put up nine points followed by Emmanuel Akpan and Will Dominguez who each had eight. Akpan would snag a team-high six rebounds while Kendall Collin led the team with four assists. Maurice Cudjo II would nab three steals throughout the contest.
