SWEDES COMPETE IN 2 LAST CHANCE MEETS

Lindsborg, Kan. - The Swedes battled hard this past week by competing in two last chance meets in Nebraska. On Friday, the track and field teams competed with a small group in the Concordia University Twilight Meet and on Saturday, they competed in the University of Nebraska - Kearney Twilight Meet.

The Swedes had a lot of strong performances, but no additional national marks. Bethany had 6 event finalists and one personal best over the weekend.

"We are very excited about how this season went and will return to action in two week for the NAIA National Championships to be held at Indiana Wesleyan in Marion Indiana," said Head Coach Aaron Yoder.

Sophomore Taylor Claussen will compete in the Javelin Throw and Senior Cameron Gordon will compete in the 100m in the national meet.
