Wichita, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Soccer team took on the Friends University Falcons in the Swedes' final game of the season.
Both teams met in the Stryker Sports Complex indoor field in lue of the predicted weather forecast of storms in the area. The Falcons would get things started with a few shots in the first couple of minutes with none of them touching the back of the net thanks to a few saves by Mackenzie Nutter. Leonela Flores would record the lone shot for the Swede that was unfortunately saved by the Falcons' keeper. Friends would counterattack and take the lead 1-0. That would be all the Falcons would need as they walked away with this one 2-0.
Mackenzie Nutter drew the start in goal and had one heck of a day with 14 saves against a very aggressive Friends team. Nutter would conclude her season with 102 saves good for second in the KCAC and 21st in the nation.
This marks the end of the season for the Swedes.
