
BRAVO NAMED FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR; METRO EARNS SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
Lindsborg, Kan. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2025 All-Conference teams and individual award winners for both men's and women's tennis. Student-athletes were selected for all awards by a vote of the KCAC head tennis coaches.
A couple of Swedes took home honors. Francisco Bravo took home the KCAC Men's Tennis Freshman of the Year honor boasting a 6-6 record as the number one singles player for the Swedes as well as a 7-4 record with his partner Martin Priban as the number one doubles pairing for Bethany.
Kyla Metro earned the KCAC Women's Tennis Sportsmanship Award which is given to the athlete who the head coaches think demonstrates the best sportsmanship while following the five core values. Metro had a 6-4 record in singles this year between the number two and three spots and a 4-5 record in doubles competition, mostly at the number two spot.
