SWEDES STRUGGLE ON SENIOR DAY

Lindsborg, Kan. - After much rescheduling, the Swedes and Eagles wound up playing Game 3 on Sunday, April 6. Succeeding Game 3 were the Swedes' Senior Day recognitions as this was the finally home series of the season for Bethany. 

Not much went in favor of the Swedes as they were held to just five hits on the afternoon. Josue Figuera had the best day for Bethany going two-for-two at the plate. As for pitchers, Jan Cruz drew the start but Edwardo Vasquez had the best game out of the five pitchers that through at least one pitch. Vasquez threw the complete seventh inning allowing just one hit while striking out two.

The Swedes will get one day off before they have to take on the York University Panthers at home in Game 2 on Tuesday, April 8, at 2:00 PM.
