SWEDES STRUGGLE IN OAKWOOD INTERCOLLEGIATE; PLACES 13TH

Enid, Okla. – The Bethany College Men's Golf team took the road to Enid, Okla. to partake in the Oakwood Intercollegiate hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University.

As a team, the Swedes placed 13th, but had some solid rounds throughout the event. Mads Hasenschwandtner placed the best out of the Swedes shooting a 225 (+12) resulting in a 26th place finish overall. Hasenschwandtner played his best ball in the second-round shooting for par (71). Will Briggs placed 58th overall with a 233 (+20) with his best round being Round 3 where he shot a 75 (+4). Daniel DeGeorge and Hans Woelfel would round out the scoring for the Swedes in which both players shot a 237 (+24) for a tie at 64th place.

The Swedes will return to Kansas for their next competition. The Hesston Spring Shootout hosted by Hesston College is set to begin Monday, March 31, and will continue on through Tuesday, April 1.
