Wichita, Kan. - The Bethany College Men's Soccer team played against Friends University in their final conference game of the season.
The beginning of the game would get off to a rocky start for the Swedes as they would concede a goal in the opening minutes. They would not give Friends a fight in the first half which resulted in 6 goals being scored in the opening 45 minutes of the match.
In the second half, the Swedes with a different lineup would start to battle more and had multiple opportunities to get a goal. However, the Friends defense and the lack of finishing from the Swedes kept them at zero for the rest of the match. Toward the end the Falcons would score one more goal to put the final nail in the coffin and win 7-0. It was an unfortunate way to end the season for the Swedes but they take it as a lesson moving into next year.
