BRAVO EARNS FIRST KCAC TENNIS HONORS
Wichita, Kan. - Francisco Bravo has earned the KCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 24-March 2 by a vote of conference sports information directors.
Bravo started his first collegiate season off on the right foot, playing in the No. 1 spot in both singles and doubles and earning victories in both.
Head Tennis Coach Thomas DeWitt on Francisco Bravo's weekly honor: "I'm excited for Fran. He was able to weather some ups and downs in the first matches of the spring, and show why the conference coaches made him a preseason selection. He's a good guy, and a good tennis player. We'll be hoping to hear alot about him, and the rest of the guys, this season."
