Other highlights were having two all-conference pole vaulters with Jarrett Shives and Cheyenne Sawyer. The faithful four relay runners on the women's side of Cheyenne Sawyer, Ariana Hurley, Mary Kathryn Gibson and Lydia Escalante ran all three relays and were all conference in two of them. The Swedes' Champions of Character recipients were Ariana Hurley and David Sawyer. The men's squad received the Team Champions of Character Award that was voted on by the conference.
Head Coach Aaron Yoder on his teams' performances: "We are very proud of the Swedes for the character and integrity that they display. This was a good way to complete the indoor season and, with a small break this week, we will resume practice moving into the outdoor season and hopefully warmer weather. Also noteworthy was five of our six relays were all conference. This was a nice spring board into our outdoor season. Big thanks to Coach Kenny for providing some great action shots!"
