Bio

Noah Smucker joined as an assistant track coach in the fall of 2020 and is the sprints, hurdles and horizontal jumps coach.

While at Bethany, Smucker had a successful track career with 25-time KCAC All-Conference performances, secured three school records (indoor 300 and 400, 4x200 relay) and two trips to NAIA Track and Field Nationals (4x100 relay, 400mh). In his three years of coaching at Bethany, he's coached athletes to seven school records in sprints or relays, and taken three athletes to the NAIA Track and Field Championships.

Along with coaching the jumps and hurdle events, he also continues to train with the athletes and competes for the KC Smoke Track Club in the 400m hurdles.

Noah Smucker graduated from Bethany College in 2018 with a degree in K-12 Art Teaching.

Smucker currently teaches art full-time at the middle school level in Salina, Kan.
