SJOGREN COMPETES AT NAIA OUTDOOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

Marion, Ind. – Kort Sjogren was the lone Swedes to qualify for the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. To make this meet, you have to hit qualifying marks throughout the 2025 season.

Sjogren opened the season winning the Javelin Throw in the Swedes first outdoor competition. Not only did he win the event, but qualified with a B-standard throw of 61.77 meters. The following week, Sjogren surpassed the A-standard mark of 62.21 meters with a throw of 62.77 meters in the Emporia State Relays placing sixth in the event, but the throw was the third best mark in the NAIA.

In the 2025 KCAC Track and Field Championships, Sjogren took home gold with a throw of 59.37 meters.

At the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Kort Sjogren's furthest throw was 51.51 meters; his second shortest toss for a mark this season.

This marks the end of the 2025 Outdoor Track and Field season for Bethany. The Swedes showed great strides over the course of the season with a total of 106 personal best performances.
