SWEDES TRAVEL TO NEBRASKA FOR CONNER-OPPENHEIM OPEN

Crete, Nebraska - The Bethany College Wrestling team traveled to compete in the Conner-Oppenheim Open against various schools from the Midwest.

There were many formidable opponents at the Conner-Oppenheim Open. David Bowerman and Eric Torres-Cortez would get the best results for the Swedes as they both came away with wins on the night against opponents from St. Ambrose and Graceland Univerity. Torres-Cortez would win by a very split decision while Bowerman won by fall.
