TERRY MASTERSON TWILIGHT CLASSIC RECAP

Hutchinson, Kan. - The Bethany College Cross Country Teams stepped up and competed on Friday at Hutchinson, Kan. for the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic.

Overall, the Swedes had four course bests. On the women's side, freshman Lydia Escalante led the charge with a time of 26:01. Isabella Arriola was right on Escalante's heels finishing with a time of 26:13. For the men, fifth-year senior Chris Yoder led the Swedes with his course-best of 23:11, good for a 38th place finish. Another strong performer was Tristen Dye coming through with a 23:49, bettering his course-best by 50 seconds. James Lee also had a noteworthy finish with a 25:44, beating his course-best by 3:27.
