5 SWEDES EARN ALL-KCAC END OF SEASON HONORS

Wichita, Kan. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2024-25 KCAC Women's Basketball All-Conference teams and award winners. Student-athletes were selected for all awards by vote of the KCAC head women's basketball coaches.

Representing Bethany College were 5 Swedes: Jaden Newfarmer (All-KCAC 2nd Team), Kylie Dunn (All-KCAC Defensive Team), Kaitlin Parker (All-KCAC Freshman Team), Janae Black-Harmon (All-KCAC Honorable Mention), and Kisa Unruh (All-KCAC Honorable Mention).

Jaden Newfarmer started in all 28 games played by the Swedes. Newfarmer finished top-five in the KCAC in total rebounds (241), defensive rebounds (189), and rebounds per game (8.6). She also finished top-10 in steals (52), blocks (26), assists (82), and field goals made (147).

Kylie Dunn played a huge factor in the Swedes defensive efforts holding opposing offenses to sub-40% shooting over the course of the season.

Kaitlin Parker's first year was impressive. Parker drew 21 starts in 27 games. Her breakout game against McPherson College truly fueled the Swedes to victory.

Janae Black-Harmon hit full stride in the latter half of the season tallying five of her seven double-doubles of the season post Jan. 1. Black-Harmon finished top-5 in the KCAC in field goal percentage (56.3%), offensive rebounds (106), total rebounds (232), rebounds per game (8.6), and steals (54).

Kisa Unruh played through adversity suffering a leg injury before season began. Unruh still made 33% of the three-pointers.
