HERM WILSON INVITATIONAL RECAP

HERM WILSON INVITATIONAL RECAP

Wichita, Kan. - The Bethany College Indoor Track and Field Teams competed at the Coach Wilson Invitational the past weekend hosted by Wichita State. This was a two-day competition that had very deep fields and a great chance for the Swedes to see how they stacked up against D2 and D1 athletes. This was also a great prep for the KCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships that will be coming up in 2 weeks which is also a two-day competition.

The Swedes once again showed great progress and improvement. Bethany ran away with 23 personal bests, 2 event finalists and 2 top-3 finishes.

"Thank you for all the fans, family and support we received at the meet!" said Head Coach Aaron Yoder. "We were pleased with the growth and grit we saw at this two day meet and will be excited to see a strong peak for the conference championships. We are right where we need to be setting up for strong performances in the sprints, throws, jumps and distance."
