Abi Ballantyne began as Assistant Volleyball Coach in July 2023. 

Prior to that, Abi served as a Residential Director/ Student Activities Board Advisor for Bethany College from July 2022 to July 2023. Before joining the Bethany College workforce, she worked as a 4th grade teacher and assistant high school volleyball coach at Canton-Galva USD 419. 

Abi Ballantyne attended Bethany College graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 2021. 

While a student at Bethany, Abi was a student assistant for the volleyball team for all four years, an athletics gameday worker, and was involved in various clubs and organizations including her sorority Alpha Theta Chi.
