SWEDES COMPETE IN KCAC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Winfield, Kan. - The Bethany College Swedes Cross Country teams travelled back to Winfield, Kansas; this time to partake in the KCAC Cross Country Championships.
The Swedes closed the season on the high note moving up in the team ranks from a year ago as the men's team finished in 7th and the women's team finished in 8th.
The Swedes' women's team was led by Junior Elyse Boden who finished 42nd with a time of 21:30 good for her season best. The men's team was led by Freshmen Kelton Kern who finished 47th with a time of 27:46 good for his lifetime best.
Overall, Bethany had 5 lifetime bests, 2 seasonal bests and 4 course bests.
Head Coach Aaron Yoder: "Everyone had a good day. We went into the championships healthy and strong and really achieved the goal of running our best race on that day.
