SWEDES WIN DECISIVELY OVER MOUNDBUILDERS
Lindsborg, Kan. - The Bethany College Swedes showcased a commanding performance against the Southwestern College Moundbuilders on April 6, 2025, at the Dr. Emory Lindquist Tennis Center in Lindsborg, Kan. The Swedes emerged victorious with a comprehensive 6-1 and 7-0 win, respectively.
Women
Notable singles victories included Maria Mistereck's robust win over Natalie Blaufuss (6-1, 6-1), while Kyla Metro and Makenna Russom each secured dominant 6-0, 6-1 wins against Rosennscar Elie and Adin Bruna, respectively. Additionally, Karee Adam delivered an impeccable performance, sweeping her match 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, the teams of Maria Mistereck with Karee Adam, and Kyla Metro with Makenna Russom, intensified the Swedes' dominance by overcoming their opponents with impressive scores of 6-2 and 6-1, respectively. The coherent strategy and synergy displayed by the Swedes' doubles teams were key highlights of the match.
Men
In singles, Daniel Lozano and Zeke Mumford both came out with clean slate winning 6-0, 6-0. Francisco Bravo and Dylan Gwilt each won 6-1, 6-0.
As for doubles, the #2 team of Mumford and Gwilt won 6-0, while the #1 team of Bravo and Priban gave up a set, but still won handedly 6-1.
